Collection

Every piece we currently produce, in one continuous index.

Nothing here is held in stock. Each object is made to order in a numbered edition by the workshop that developed it, with a lead time of ten to sixteen weeks. Dimensions, timbers, stones and finishes can be specified — the geometry cannot.

Low lounge chair in solid oak with cream wool upholstery

Seating

Halden Lounge Chair

Material
Solid oak, undyed wool
Year
2023

A low, wide chair built from four thick oak members and a single suspended seat. The frame is left unfinished on its inner faces so the grain records how the timber was cut, while the outer surfaces are soaped by hand. Edition of 24.

Long solid walnut dining table with monolithic legs

Tables

Meridian Dining Table

Material
Solid European walnut
Year
2021

A 62 mm walnut top carried on two monolithic legs set well inboard, so the table appears to float clear of the floor. Boards are matched from a single log; the end grain is left proud and hand-sanded. Made to length.

Lighting

Column Floor Light

Material

Round travertine side table on a pale concrete floor

Tables

Vein Side Table

Material
Honed Roman travertine
Year
2022

One cylinder of travertine, cut across the bed so the open pores draw a horizontal line around the body. Honed rather than polished, so it holds light softly and takes a fingerprint without showing it. Edition of 30.

Seating

Ridge Bench

Material
Carved storm-felled elm
Year
2022

Cut from a single length of storm-felled elm and hollowed along its spine with an adze before finishing. Each bench follows the log it came from, so no two are dimensionally identical. Unique pieces, numbered in sequence.

How an edition works

From enquiry to delivered object

Ordering a piece is a conversation with the studio, not a transaction with a warehouse.

  • 01

    Enquiry & specification

We discuss the room, the intended use and the material. You receive a specification sheet, a drawing and a firm price.

  • 02

    Material selection

For timber and stone pieces we photograph the actual boards or blocks reserved for your edition number before cutting begins.

  • 03

    Production

Ten to sixteen weeks in the workshop, depending on the piece. You are sent progress photographs at two agreed stages.

  • 04

    Delivery & care

Crated and delivered across Europe by a specialist art handler, with a care card and a small tin of the finish used.

Notes

Editions
& Care

Practical detail on numbering, variation and the long life of a piece.

Numbering

Every object carries its edition number, workshop stamp and year of production on an unseen face. When an edition closes it is not reopened, and we do not produce unnumbered variants.

Natural variation

Timber, stone and hand-blown glass vary between pieces. Colour, figure and veining shown in photographs are indicative; the material reserved for your piece is always shown before cutting.

Repair, not replacement

Our finishes are chosen so surfaces can be brought back rather than stripped. We hold drawings and offcuts for every edition and service our pieces indefinitely.
